Diary Entries

20/ 10/ 2010 - College - Today we started are first bit of filming in our college. We organised the actors we wanted to use and ensured the setting we planned to use was available. Before the filming date we asked our actors to wear suitable clothing which would fit our genre to ensure the mis en scene. We spent two hours filming in several locations in college using our shotlist as guidence.

05/ 11/ 2010 - Club- We had to book out the HD camera for the weekend to ensure we could take it out of college so that we could film outside of college in a local bar for the party scenes. We contacted a friend who is the manager of the bar who agreed to let us to film. He supplied us a section of the club to set up the camera stand safely. We then brought our actors to the location in appriate clothing for the scene, then began filming.

18/ 12/ 2010 - Birmingham & House shots - We spent the whole day travelling around Birmingham collectiong shots of people on the streets, birds eye veiw city shots and clips of moving cars. We had to ensure that the shots of the city were taken at night so that we could see that city lights clearly which we thought would look more effective. We wanted the shots around Birmingham to reflect urban city life and the busy lives of teengers. We completed our filming today and we feel that we can now begin editing our film trailer.
