For the advanced portfolio me and my group have decided to produce a film trailer alongside a film poster and magazine front cover to advertise the film. Our aims are to target the social group based within the film, allowing them to relate to the characters and lifestyles they live. Our film trailer will be set in Birmingham therefore it will reflect the lives of teenagers from Birmingham who face serious issues daily. We want our film trailer to unvail the harsh realities of life through these teenagers eyes. In order to target this audience we had to think carefully about the costume and setting we would use for out poster and magazine cover.

KiDULTHOOD is about the lives of several teenagers growing up in a deprived area of West London. These teenagers are brought up in a unstable enviroment and are tempted to do things they know are wrong and illegal. London is well known for its gang violence and this film portrays this. The film represents serious and real life issues of what some teenagers go through in today’s society. The target audience for this film is teenagers and young adults mainly aimed at people aged between 15-25. This explains why so many people who are in this age group may watch it as they can relate to the issues and struggles of the actors.

'4321' is based around four teenage girls finding stolen diamonds. While Jo is chained down in a dead end supermarket job, her friends are all out on their own separate adventures: Cassandra  is jetting off to New York to meet her Internet boyfriend; Kerrys  is on a one woman crusade fighting for female liberation and Shannon  is on a one way trip to meet her maker. But a chance encounter with some diamond thieves sends their separate worlds on a collision course with not only each other, but fate itself. These 4 girls are about to have 3 days they will never forget, spanning to 2 cities.
